Paul Chant, Attorney at Law and head of the Cooper Cargill Chant Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Group
Paul Chant is an experienced litigator admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in New Hampshire, with 25 years of experience in personal injury cases. He began his career defending personal injury and workers' compensation cases for national insurance carriers. Preferring to build cases and work with individuals, and wary of the changing nature in which insurance companies dealt with their own policyholders and attorneys, Paul developed a practice representing personal injury, workers' compensation and medical malpractice victims. His success is reflected in his current position as President Elect of the New Hampshire Association for Justice (formerly the NH Trial Lawyers Association). NHAJ is the leading organization in the state for attorneys representing personal injury victims.

Paul has handled hundreds of personal injury cases of all types. He is known as a leader among lawyers. Paul was chosen by his peers to be the Chairman of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, and has received the New Hampshire Bar Associations highest honor, the President's Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession.

Prior to joining this firm in 1999, Paul was a Director of Nashua’s largest firm, Hamblett & Kerrigan. He graduated from the University of Vermont and Boston School of Law

Paul lives in Chocorua with his wife, a local teacher, and their three children. Paul is on the Board of Directors of the Mount Washington Valley Economic Counsel, Mountain Valley School to Career, The Ham Arena, and The Barnstormers.
